Reach Your Full Potential With NeuroElements
An interoceptive approach, backed by science, to learn and refine new skills, resolve pain, and recover full functionaliy after trauma
Hi! I am Jackie the founder of an approach based on the eighth sensory system, which helps people and animals overcome compromised functionality to reach their full potential in any endeavor.
The Eighth Sensory System
The eighth sensory system - interoception - is defined as what you feel from within. I address one particular area of interoception: what muscles you feel as you move. The focus is on movement because, as science has shown, it is the only reason we have a brain. Research shows all information enters the brain from the senses, and the senses are activated by movement. Movement is the source of how we learn. To get an idea of what you feel as you move close your eyes and slowly lift an arm up and down.
- Do you hold your breath as you lift?
- Is your breathing shallow or deep?
- Do your feet push into the floor as you lift?
- Does your jaw, neck, shoulders, or ribs contract as you lift?
These are interoceptive muscle sensations.
What makes this approach unique?
- It requires you to be an active participant because your brain only creates or refines new neural pathways when you are actively moving.
- It helps you learn to identify the source of the pain and shows you how to resolve it using the entire body.
- You tap into the powerful sensory part of the brain to recreate and modify the neural maps just like the way you learned when you were born.
People with a wide range of conditions - stroke, carpal tunnel, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, low back pain, migraines, frozen shoulder, and more - have at the very least relieved their symptoms and pain and, in most cases, resolved their limitations to be fully functional again. Many people have dramatically improved the quality of their lives, even with degenerative diseases such as MS, Parkinson’s, neuropathy, or fibromyalgia.
Athletes, musicians, singers, dancers and performers have overcome limitations to improve and perform better than ever before.
Is it right for you?
If you believe you are the source of your own healing and functional improvement, and you are willing to engage in an interoceptive (feel from within) mind-body re-connection process, then this is the approach for you.

What clients have to say about the approach....
The NeuroElements approach literally saved me from ending up in a wheelchair. I had many injuries from competitive skiing, running, and a chemical accident in my job. I was barely functioning when I met Jackie but now I enjoy working with my horse, gardening, running and so much more. I got my life back and I attribute it to NeuroElements. - Kristy B., Property Manager
I was unable to perform my demanding job as a chef because of back pain. NeuroElements helped me learn to resolve it and I have never looked back. And it's been over ten years! - Jenny G., Chef
After having two severe injuries, I was suffering severe back pain from herniated discs. I had become inactive due to the pain and gained over 100 pounds, felt terrible and had difficulty moving, sleeping - with everything really.
I found the practices so interesting and immediately applicable to my life and work. Having multiple autoimmune issues the work caught my eye. So much so that I purchased the videos and have been working with them and achieving much needed relief.
But there is much more to be said for this approach than some great and easy to do practices. Even if it stopped at that it would be worth 2-3 times the price. What works for me and likely you is the philosophy that can be applied to so much of life.
- Stephen Hawley
Powerful, powerful mindful functional technique. The approach has no fluff - it is all get right down to the guidance - and lots of it. It's worth taking your time to work your way slowly through the practices and see what resonates for you. I've started to apply some of this, and it is really alleviating what I thought was chronic pain. Highly recommended. - E. Stuart
This approach is a radical attempt to bring the latest from socio-cognitive neuroscience and human physiology for realizing our full potential as human beings. Using simple practices, NeuroElements shows how to engage our body as a source of new learning to solve problems at many levels. A must-have book if you are interested in exploring a new way of thriving in an uncertain world.
- Tojo Thatchenkery PhD, Professor and Dean
The NeuroElements approach has transformed my life. I no longer have acute, debilitating pain and I am emotionally much better able to cope with anything coming my way. I may even try ballroom dancing again one day.
- Jessica S. PhD, Professor
My life has been transformed by the NeuroElements approach. I was on a path of chronic back pain but that is all long gone. Now I continue with the approach to improve every aspect of my life, in particular running, tennis, singing, and playing instruments. Life is a real joy for me.
- Anne F., Musician and singer
Jackie has literally changed my life! As a life long athlete, I've suffered many injuries and had gotten used to living with plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis and back, hip and neck pain. I longed to be able to walk/run without pain and keep up on bike rides with friends. Through Jackie's amazing work, she taught my brain how to relieve myself of suffering instantly. I am back to jogging, astonished myself by completing a 70 mile high sierra bike ride (8,000 altitude and 4500 feet of climbing) and can lift my grandchildren with grace and ease. NeuroElements simply produces results. I feel blessed to have found this approach.
- Janice Knight, PCC, CHt, SPHR Professional Business and Life Coach
I had a massive stroke over 35 years ago. NeuroElements helped me gain cognitive and physical skills. I didn't think about much before but my mind is awhirl now. I used to struggle going up or down hills because my eyes did not discern topography. I do now and struggle less. Jackie has become my mentor.
- Bill Maskill, retired pharmacist
A lifelong athlete, I had stopped running because of knee and hip pain. I am an avid bicyclist but was faced with having to give it up due to knee, back, and hip pain. I went to many therapy sessions but nothing was helping until I started taking classes with Jackie. I had to radically change my perceptions of how to function. Everything I had learned - strengthening the core, feeling the burn, isolating muscles was wrong!
With the NeuroElements approach I started running again - barefoot no less! I competed in several triathlons, running and biking completely pain-free and with more power, strength, and stamina than I ever felt before. I continue to hike, run, and bike with the ease and effortlessness I felt when I was young.
