Achieve a flexible body and mind NOT by stretching exercises?
I stopped stretching exercises at 16 years old and here is why. I wanted to be a dancer but my instructor said I was too stiff. I was determined to become flexible so I started stretching exercises because that is what everyone said is the ticket to flexibility! I stretched for weeks and could almost do the splits the easy way. Then we went away for the weekend and I didn’t do the stretching exercises for 2 days and my legs were stiffer than ever! I was so disappointed that I never stretched again because it was a waste of time for me.
Twenty years later I discovered a different way to gain flexibility. The amazing concept of releasing muscles to be flexible.
