These three boys had various injuries that affected how they functioned. One had a club foot, another had feet growing very wonky because of the way he moved and he couldn't bend to the right at all, and another had a hitch in his hind end and was unable to perform half-passes or leg yields well. All three boys have completely reversed their limitations with our approach. They function with ease and total flexibility in all they do. They are way less reactive to unfamiliar stuff as well making them way safer for anyone to ride. - Jackie M., NeuroElements Founder
This boy was hit by a car at 2 years old and became stiff and unable to function well as he got older. Using our approach, the worst effects of the injury were reversed and he functioned better for many more years. He spent one summer hiking all over the High Sierras. Not bad for a dog that could hardly walk after his accident!
Felix was a feral cat rescued at 2 years old. He could not reach his front paws forward at all. After just a couple of 5 minute sessions he fully recovered all his feline abilities to run, climb, jump, and hunt (unfortunately!). What a massive turnaround for this fine fellow!
Helping Animals Recover Functionality
Our approach works universally with all land animals that have a skeleton and nervous system. No animal naturally knows how to fully regain compromised functionality.
The approach to help animals regain functionality is relatively simple: create the conditions through constraint and other techniques to help them change what they do as they perform a function. For instance, a cat did not want to reach forward from his front shoulders whether climbing trees or scratching on a post. In just a few seconds he was shown how to reach with his entire shoulder with no pain. In just a few moments his past trauma was resolved
Horses are some of the most compromised animals because they are big and powerful and we tend to treat them way more harshly out of fear, ignorance, dominance, and ego. They also live in very unnatural surroundings. Many horses who suffered mild to severe injuries regained full functionality and resolved many other related health and behavioral issues.
You can best help your animal friends by first integrating the approach into your own functionality and then learning the feel and awareness required to help your animal companions. Integrate five critical senses into all you do and resolve your own limitations AND help your beloved pets resolve theirs too.

Horses and their Riders
As any horse rider knows - it is difficult to make riding well look effortless. There are numerous books that show balanced riding techniques, but they fall just short of really teaching you how to balance on a horse because you must first be in balance off your horse. It is easy to imagine you are balanced when sitting on your horse but it will not be possible unless you are balanced through the center of your structure off your horse in all you do.
When you are unbalanced and riding stiffly your horse stiffens to protect his body from the discomfort of your body. For instance if your horse is 'stiff' on the left side then you are probably stiff on the right side of your body - yes, the right side!
Once you learn to function from your center you are ready to help your horse overcome limitations. The result will be a happy horse AND a happy rider.
We provide clinics, DVDs, personal sessions and more to guide you to becoming truly balanced on and off your horse. The coolest benefit from our approach is that all other parts of your life will improve naturally.
